The Unique Place

On the banks of the Saint-Félix canal, the former LU factory has come back to life since January 1, 2000 to the rhythm of an atypical arts centre. National scene of Nantes, the unique place is a space of artistic exploration, cultural bubbling and conviviality which mixes genres, cultures and audiences. Its creed: the spirit of curiosity in the different fields of art: theatre, dance, circus, music, plastic arts, but also literature, philosophy, documentary cinema, architecture… A place of friction, the unique place shelters next to these spaces dedicated to creation, a set of services: bar, restaurant, reading room, hammam, nursery…
